i live in SURINAME. A country with very much free land.i want to start a plantation of Durian ,Mangosteen Dragon fruit and Rambuttan.
Rambuttan and mangosteen and Durian grows very well here,Can you supply me with information of websites where I can buy plants or kind of plants that have a short growing period.please advice

Mangosteen is known as mannggis in indonesia n is one of my fav fruits. The taste of these fruits is just mouth watering.

You want to pick a good frozen one?

Look at the Top of the Durian – if you find MINIMAL signs of cracks (or cracks up to one centimeter) you are definitely having a ripe one. But there may not be any large cracks (overripe). If it is symmetrical and a big one (more flesh) its better, too.

visit my place, Davao City, when you buy Durian, they will open the fruits n have u taste, if its not ripe enough they will replace with another fruit, visit the place during the two festival seasons,kadayawan and araw ng dabaw, you will enjoy all kinds of philippine fruit, Dec, is the best time too, mango is all year fruits
try durian ice cream too

please let me know about detail plantation and availability of plants of rambutan. I propose to plant rambutan trees near Belgaum Karnataka. soil is red with sandy appearance. with heavy monsoon and cold winter. what is is the cost of plant and plantation expenses . how many plants can be planted in 1 acre land . what is the dist between two plants

I had my third harvest of rambutan from my farm last week and am still waiting for some fruits to ripen. As usual, they were sweet and delicious. This year, however, our rambutan harvest were few. With no distinct dry-wet season arising from changing weather patterns, trees either failed to bear fruit or produced less of it.

A fruiting rambutan tree is a sight to behold, especially when ripe. Grafted trees start to bear fruit three years after planting.
